Tommy Scott
Tommy Scott is an English singer, songwriter and musician. He is the lead singer and guitarist of Liverpool band Space. Tommy was originally the band’s bassist, but switched to guitar after [former member] David “Yorkie” Palmer joined in 1997. Prior to Space, Tommy had played in various other bands such as the Substitutes, Hello Sunset and the Australians.
In the wake of Space’s split in 2005, Tommy formed the Drellas. The original line-up of which included Space’s then drummer Leon Caffrey and Phil Hartley on bass. The Drellas then morphed into Tommy Scott And The Red Scare, featuring; Tommy, Phil and two new members, Allan Jones on drums and Ryan Clarke on keyboard, also including a saxophone player. Phil, Allan and Ryan would all go on to join the new line-up of Space, when the band reformed in 2011.
Tommy released his debut solo album titled “Marionette” under the moniker “The Thomas Scott Quintet”, on November 22nd 2020.
